Credit/Debit Card Deposits

You are now able to use your credit/debit card to make a deposit.  This option is currently available for US/Canadian customers ONLY.  We process card deposits through two different processors, the Visa Processor and the other Card Logos available from "All Other Methods".

Only cards under the account holder's name are allowed to deposit.  Transactions processed using third party cards are deemed as high risk and will ban your account and personal information from future card deposits.

New account deposits are restricted to process Visa cards through our Visa Processor ONLY.

How to deposit funds to 5Dimes using your Credit/Debit Card

Visa Processor
Login to the 5Dimes system, go to the Cashier page and select "Visa Processor" from the drop down menu.  You must read thoroughly the first time user disclaimer and click on "I DO AGREE" before being able to click Continue.  Please make sure you understand thoroughly the Terms and Conditions therein contained.

First time users are restricted to deposits of $50 and maximum of $250.  Third party vendors may be restricted when using this funding option.

All initial deposits with Visa cards will require further validation using a phone verification system.  An automated phone call will be made to the phone number registered on file.

When the call is answered, you will hear a recording dictating a 4 digit code.  You must enter this code in the verification page that will follow after clicking the "Validate" button.

Unsuccessful calls due to an incorrect or false phone number will not allow the current transaction.  Your account will then need to pass a far more extensive verification process through our Certification Department to enable card deposits.

After your first successful deposit, you must wait 24h in order to process the second one.  After your second successful deposit you need to wait 48 hours to process a third one within the same ranges.  Once you have completed three successful deposits, you will be eligible for regular deposit limits with a maximum of $500.00 per transaction.

Please notice that no deposits are allowed from Washington, Washington DC and Maryland.  Contact Customer Service via Live Help for the possibility of using an alternate Visa processor.

Carefully fill out the Visa Verified form and hit "Submit".  The information provided in the Visa Verified form must match the one used in your 5Dimes account.  Third party deposits are not permitted.

The minimum amount that you may deposit using this method is $50 and there is a maximum of $500 per transaction (limits may vary).

All Other Methods
Login to your 5Dimes account and click on "All other methods" from the drop down selection of the Cashier link from the top menu.  Select to make a deposit and click on any of the options listed on the Credit Card section.  Follow the instructions and make sure you fill the information correctly.  By proceeding to deposit through this option, you are agreeing to all the Terms and Conditions attached to credit/debit card deposits.  The minimum amount that you may deposit using this method is $50 and there is a maximum of $500 per transaction (limits may vary).

This depositing option is currently NOT available for new accounts.

Fees associated with Credit/Debit Cards

Deposits via credit/debit card into your 5Dimes account are always free of charge and are processed 24 hours a day.  Additional fees charged by card issuers for processing international transactions or any other reason will not be covered.

Access to third party vendors may be restricted when using a credit/debit card to fund your account.

Use your preferred browser to search for "no foreign transaction fee" cards.  There are countless issuing bank options available that never charge a fee for international transactions.

IMPORTANT - Prior payouts, documentation of your successful Card deposits will be required to VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT: scanned copies of your picture ID, the front side of your card and an authorization form filled out and signed.  Click here to get your authorization form.  Upon discretion other information may be required.  Please make sure each document requested by our verification team is sent in a different attachment (do not put your ID and Card images or authorization form in the same document).  Management reserves the right to process card refunds for customers who deposit with credit/debit cards as part of a payout request or for the complete amount of payout requests.
