It will be the Cleveland Cavaliers and the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. Some are wondering if LeBron and co can even win a single game in this best-of-seven series?
2018 NBA Finals Odds updated
Game 3 in Cleveland on Wednesday, June 6th, 9 PM ET – GSW lead 2-0
Cleveland Vs Golden State Betting Analysis
Both squads survived Conference Final Game 7s on the road. The Cavaliers won at Boston on Sunday. The Warriors came from behind to beat a CP3-less Rockets on Monday to set up a shot at a repeat.
This could be Cleveland’s last shot at a title for a while. LeBron is leaving at the end of this season. The Indians have never shown any interest in a World Championship. And the Browns are the Browns.
LeBron has been an underdog in seven of his nine Finals appearances. He has won three titles. But he is averaging 41.3 minutes per game in the post-season and he was clearly gassed during stretches against the young Celtics. Does he have another miracle in the tank?
The only shot the Cavs have at winning more than a game in this series is if they slow down 2017 NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant. He single-handedly beat Cleveland in last season’s finals by scoring 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. He is averaging 29.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists a game this postseason.
