2019’s Super Bowl 53 is a year away, but our NFL oddsmakers have diligently set the early betting odds for all of us football nerds!

2019 Super Bowl 53 Betting Odds & Picks

The New England Patriots have been favored to win the Super Bowl at the end of every week for two seasons. Unforeseen circumstances aside, it is a safe bet that the love ’em or hate ’em Patriots will be the odds-on betting favorite to win the 2019 Super Bowl all off-season.

What: Super Bowl 53
When: Sunday, February 3rd, 2019

The 2019 Super Bowl Odds-On Betting Favorite: New England Patriots +350

The Patriots won Super Bowl 51 last season and Super Bowl 49 in 2015 and they’re currently favored to win Super Bowl 52, but no matter what happens, they’re the prohibitive favorites to win Super Bowl 53 in 2019 and rightfully so. New England had their share of blemishes this season, mostly on defense as they ranked an uncharacteristic 30th against the pass and 20th against the run, but they somehow managed to consistently keep their opponents out of the end zone in ranking fifth in points allowed (18.5 ppg). More importantly, they still have arguably the greatest quarterback and head coach in league history leading them in quarterback Tom Brady and Bill Belichick respectively. At this point, how can the perennially powerful Pats not be the favorites?

The 2019 Super Bowl Smart Pick: New Orleans Saints +1850

The New Orleans Saints are undeniably the top smart pick to win the 2019 Super Bowl for several reasons. First and foremost, they have a Hall of Fame quarterback in Drew Brees that looked as good as he ever has this past season throwing for 4,334 yards with 23 touchdown passes. Most importantly was the way the Saints improved defensively in finishing 10th in points allowed (20.4 ppg). If they can add a few more defensive players to go along with their powerful offense, the Saints could very well win it all in 2019.

The 2019 Super Bowl Long Shot Pick: Oakland Raiders +2100

Two years ago, the Raiders looked like they were well on their way to sustained excellence after going 13-3 in 2016. Unfortunately, they took a big step backward in 2017 while finishing 6-10. Now, though, they could be headed back to prominence next season after hiring Super Bowl-winning former head coach Jon Gruden to return for the sole purpose of helping them fulfill their Super Bowl potential. Gruden inherits a star in quarterback Derek Carr and arguably the best defensive player in the league in linebacker Khalil Mack. If the Raiders can improve their roster via free agency and the NFL Draft, I say the sky’s the limit next season.
