College Football Week 10 Betting Cheat Sheet

Thursday, Nov. 2

Navy -7 at Temple
ESPN at 8:00 pm ET

Temple might not be as strong this season as they were in 2015 and 2016. No worries. The Owls are fantastic in Thursday games. They’ve gone 4 and 1 ATS in their last 5 games on a Thursday night. Temple is also 8 and 2 ATS in their last 10 versus a team with a winning record.

Saturday, Nov. 4

#4 Wisconsin -9 at Indiana
ABC at 12:00 pm ET

Wisconsin has one of the absolute best defenses in college football. Indiana’s defense yields 26.8 points per game. It’s not like Wisconsin is a covering machine, but Indiana’s game plan is about outscoring their opponents.

#7 Penn State -11 at #24 Michigan State
FOX at 12:00 pm ET

Penn State had no business losing 38 to 39 to Ohio State in Week 9. Michigan State was actually a 1.5 dog in their 31 to 39 overtime loss to Northwestern in Week 9. No matter. Sparty plays tough. They’re just not good enough to hang with the Nittany Lions.

#16 Auburn -12.5 at Texas A&M
ESPN at 12:00 pm ET

Wow, Texas A&M looked bad in Week 9! The Aggies were flat out embarrassed in a Mississippi State romp this past Saturday. State dominated A&M 35 to 13. Auburn could dominate A&M like Mississippi State did. I don’t believe they will.

South Carolina at #2 Georgia -21.5
CBS at 3:30 pm ET

This could be a trap game for Georgia. South Carolina is much better than many give them credit for being. The Gamecocks have an improving defense. Still, Georgia should win. I believe they only win by 20, though.

#3 Ohio State -17 at Iowa
ESPN at 3:30 pm ET

Many already feel that Ohio State has a letdown after their tough win over Penn State. I don’t believe the Buckeyes do. If anything, now that OSU is ranked third in the nation they’re going to be tougher to beat.

Wake Forest at #5 Notre Dame -15
NBC at 3:30 pm ET

Wake Forest has a decent defense. Too bad the Deacons offense has no shot at keeping it close versus one of the Top 5 teams in the nation. The Irish should have no trouble making this an easy win.

#6 Clemson at #20 NC State -7
ABC at 3:30 pm ET

Clemson played much better than I thought they would versus the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this past Saturday. I thought Clemson might lose straight up. The Tigers managed to push as a -14-home favorite. That’s enough for me to call the money line upset.

#18 Stanford +3 at #25 Washington State -3
FOX at 3:30 pm ET

Stanford looked terrible, absolutely terrible, beating Oregon State 15 to 14 in Week 9. Washington State looked worse in their 37 to 58 loss to Arizona. But, the Arizona Wildcats can score. Stanford? Not so much.

Texas at #10 TCU -7
ESPN at 7:15 pm ET

I love Texas in this matchup. Here’s a crazy stat for you: the Texas Longhorns are 6 and 2 straight up and 6-1-1 against the spread.

#19 LSU at #1 Alabama -22
CBS at 8:00 pm ET

Alabama is only 2 and 3 ATS at home for a reason. The spreads that Bama faces are downright unfair. I don’t see Alabama losing this game. I also don’t see Alabama covering a -22 spread. These two always play a tight game.

Pick: Alabama 17, LSU 9

#13 Virginia Tech -2.5 at #9 Miami
ABC at 8:00 pm ET

Tech is favored over the Canes in ABC’s Saturday Night Primetime affair. Can Virginia Tech upset undefeated Miami on the road? I don’t believe they can. Miami might win ugly. But, the Canes are still win.

#23 Arizona at #17 USC -8
ESPN at 10:45 pm ET

Here’s the thing, USC is a better football team than Arizona. But, there are few, if any, college football opponents that can stick with Arizona’s high-powered offense. I think Zona blows the doors off the Coliseum with over 40 points in this game.
