While home teams went a modest 7-6 ATS this past week (53.85%) home favorites posted an encouraging 6-3 ATS mark this past week (66.67%) while home faves went 8-1 SU (88.89%) against their visiting opponents,

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo’s 34-14 beatdown of the Oakland Raiders last week as a 1.5-point home favorite helped the Bills to improve to a blistering 5-1-1 ATS mark on the season.

Top Billing

By the way, that win by the Bills means they’re the only team in the league heading into Week 9 with just one ATS loss this season.

Dualies

However, there are five teams that have only two ATS losses heading into the new week.

  • Philadelphia 6-2 ATS
  • Kansas City 6-2 ATS
  • New Orleans 5-2 ATS
  • Houston 5-2 ATS
  • NY Jets 5-2-1 ATS

The Upside Down

At the opposite end of the ATS spectrum, the Arizona Cardinals (1-6 ATS) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5-1 ATS) are the only two teams in the league with just one ATS win heading into Week 9.

Double Trouble

Covering the spread in just two games are the following teams and they are all in trouble heading into Week 9.

  • Washington 2-5 ATS
  • Atlanta 2-5 ATS
