Football Games To Watch This Week

Minnesota vs. Los Angeles Rams -6.5
8:20 PM ET, Thursday, September 27
FOX/NFL Network

The L.A. Rams are the favorite to win Super Bowl 53 with their high octane offense and top-tier defense. They face a Vikings team that lost to the 16.5 underdog Bills in Minnesota. This will be a great Thursday Night Football tilt.

#12 West Virginia -3.5 vs. #25 Texas Tech
12 PM ET, Saturday, September 29

West Virginia faces its first top-25 opponent of the season. This is also the Mountaineers first Big 12 Conference away game of the year. Last week Texas Tech beat their first top-15 team in Oklahoma State. That also broke the Red Raiders 9-game losing streak to the Cowboys.

#4 Ohio State -3.5 vs. #9 Penn State
7:30 PM ET, Saturday, September 29

When the top two Big Ten teams face-off, its a must watch affair. In Urban Meyer’s second game on the sidelines for the Buckeyes, they are road favorites at Penn State.

#7 Stanford vs. #8 Notre Dame -4.5
7:30 PM ET, Saturday, September 29

If OSU vs. Penn State doesn’t get your motor running, then Stanford facing the Irish in North Bend will be your ticket. Notre Dame is undefeated. A win by either team will go a long way to playoff consideration come winter.

#19 Oregon -3 vs #24 California
10:30 PM ET, Saturday, September 29

West coast football fans are in for another treat after last week’s Stanford/Oregon tilt. Now Oregon, as a one field-goal road favorite, faces Cal.

Miami vs. New England -7
1:00 PM ET, Sunday, September 30

An AFC East tilt between the 3-0 Miami Dolphins and the 1-2 New England Patriots could be the debut of Josh Gordon as a Patriot. Without Julian Edelman, opponents are locking out Gronk. Edelman returns next week from a four-game PED suspension. Miami needs to take advantage of a shorthanded Pats team before the band gets back together. After this week the Pats will be unstoppable.

Cleveland vs. Oakland -2.5
4:05 PM ET, Sunday, September 30

This will be the top ticket this Sunday. Baker Mayfield starts his first career NFL game against a winless Jon Gruden.

Kansas City -5 vs Denver
8:15 PM ET, Sunday, September 30

Patrick Mahomes is the real deal with 13 passing TDs in three games, breaking Peyton Manning’s record of 12. KC is one of three undefeated teams left and with an extra day to prepare, Andy Reid will stay undefeated.
