Are you ready for the 2019 Players Championship? The 46th edition of this tournament gets underway this week on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. Dustin Johnson is the betting favorite to win the Players Championship at +1160. He is back on Tour for the first time since winning the WGC-Mexico Championship last month.

Rory McIlroy is the second favorite at +1230 followed by Justin Thomas at +1410. The 29-year-old McIlroy is coming off a sixth-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week. Thomas has not won on Tour since his victory at the Bridgestone Invitational last August.

Rickie Fowler and Brooks Koepka both enter the Players Championship at +2030 odds to win. Fowler won the Players Championship back in 2015 and finished tied for 40th this past week at Bay Hill. Koepka missed the cut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week and has not won on Tour since the CJ Cup this past October.

Let’s not forget about Tiger Woods who enters the Players Championship tied with Jon Rahm at +2500 odds to win. Tiger has won twice at TPC Sawgrass during his career. In his last outing at the WGC-Mexico Championship, he finished tied for 10th. Tiger skipped Bay Hill due to a neck strain. Woods will be back in action this week and looking for his first win since the Tour Championship last September.
